Hair Dressing/Hair Combing （上头）

At dawn on the wedding day (or the night before), the bride/bridegroom bathed in water infused with pamelo. The bride will put on new clothes including pyjamas, undergarments, slippers and sit before lit dragon-and-phoenix candles. A good luck woman will help to comb the hair while speak auspicious words.

一梳梳到尾
二梳梳到白发齐眉

三梳梳到儿孙满地
四梳梳到银筍尽标齐

There are 3 important elements (mirror, scissors and ruler) for hair dressing which signifying bright future and produce very well next generation. 

剪刀代表有利， 子孙尺、镜代表光明继后之意。即所谓“龙头镜、铰剪尺”。
